Several Arizona groups endorsed my candidacy. I appreciate support from these organizations and groups. I did not receive any campaign contributions from them.
Stonewall Democrats of Arizona
HOW WE ENDORSE: Stonewall Democrats of Arizona has a twelve person Endorsement Committee. Candidates do not file applications nor must those endorsed have to be members of the LGBTQ community. Being a member of the LGBTQ community is obviously a plus towards endorsement however, we have found that being such does not always indicate that a candidate would necessarily be an advantage to our community were they to hold office. Many factors are considered. Committee members research candidates through their social media accounts, their websites, voting records, YouTube videos, statements, position papers, the Stonewall Equality Questionnaire and more before bringing their information before the Committee in whole for a vote.
Planned Parenthood Advocates of Arizona (PPAA)
Planned Parenthood Advocates of Arizona (PPAA) is Planned Parenthood’s advocacy and political arm in Arizona and the state’s largest nonpartisan advocacy organization dedicated to protecting access to sexual and reproductive health care. PPAA is fighting for every person’s freedom and right to make reproductive choices, enjoy sexual health and wellbeing, and build healthy, strong families by educating voters, public officials, and candidates for public office.
Arizona Nurses Association Political Action Committee
AzNAPAC is organized for the purpose of advancing nursing and health care in the state of Arizona, and in carrying out that purpose we endeavor to educate candidates and legislators about professional nursing and general health care issues. We hope that you will use the Arizona Nurses Association as a resource for learning about nursing issues and health care from the unique perspective that registered nurses can provide. We appreciate your interest in nursing issues, and your willingness to work with registered nurses to improve the health care of the people of Arizona.
Humane Voters of Arizona
Humane Voters of Arizona is an all-volunteer, non-partisan organization that supports candidates who care about animals and animal protection. Arizona has a large constituency of voters who care about animals and support candidates who do the same.
